Meet the Therapists

Nicole’s Work Experience
Nicole has extensive experience in working with children of all ages in the assessment, treatment, and management of speech and language disorders associated with Autism, ADD, ADHD, Auditory Processing disorders, motor speech delays, and myofunctional disorders.
She has also worked with the language rehabilitation of adults in sub-acute medical settings. After incorporating myofunctional techniques into her practice, she began to see better results with her clients. This led her to further her training in myofunctional disorders and their treatment. She attended intensive training courses from the myoacademy at UCLA.
Applied Education
From there, Nicole has had great success with myofunctional therapy with her clients and believes that she has found the “missing piece” to her practice. She values and enjoys collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, where she can incorporate strategies from occupational therapy to behavior modification into her treatment.
When working with children, Nicole uses and teaches parents techniques that include: visual strategies, play, social skills, picture exchanges, social stories, sign, direct teaching, and oral-motor/motor-speech hierarchies.
